Due to the pandemic a lot of businesses have been adversely affected. They have had to change their ways of marketing as well as customer acquisition. So WoEmpower interviewed some women and give them an outlet to also inspire other women with their stories. Since we truly believe that the power is within YOU, we think that your stories can really inspire someone. So feel free to write to us at woempower.03@gmail.com to feature your story on our blog!

We interviewed Mrs. Vrinda Jhunjhunwala, Agripreneur and Artist. Following are what she had to say to our questions.

Name: Vrinda Jhunjhunwala

Occupation: Agripreneur and Artist

Q. How has your business been affected by the lockdown?

Due to the lockdown my business has slowed down, almost not working at all. There is shortage of labour, materials, demand, and supply chain entities. Haven't been able to procure materials which would allow me to grow my business. Also haven't been able to find labour.

Q. How did you cope up with your work during quarantine?

How I coped during this quarantine is by slowing down my business and taking baby steps. Almost treating it as if it's a new business that needs me to take small baby steps. Not investing in any heavy technologies, materials, etc. Working with a very small team that too only 2 days a week.

Q. What aspect of your life has been affected the most due to the pandemic?

Aspect of life that has been affected the most is emotional stability. T is quite depressing to sit at home and do very little. Also stressful because business has slowed down and you're always thinking of ways to keep yourself and your family safe.

Q. Any suggestions you would like to give to the women whose businesses have been adversely affected due to the pandemic?

Suggestions- hold on. Stay strong. We all need to take a breather, and start small.
